Important Note: Pictures are
labeled by fetal age. In an abortion clinic, length of pregnancy is
usually determined by the time since the woman's last menstrual period (LMP)
However, conception occurs two weeks after the period ends.
Therefore, a woman who is "nine weeks pregnant" is carrying a seven-week
old unborn baby. Thus, the pictures of, say, a ten-week baby here are
really from a woman's "twelfth week of pregnancy" as the clinics
calculate it.
